Creative Direction + Graphics + Web

When I began working with Dog Tag Art, I was tasked with re-invigorating the brand image while utilizing the colors, logo, and energy that have characterized Dog Tag Art since its founding.

I lead photoshoots aimed in highlighting pet personalities while showcasing the product. I incorporated new fonts, created a signature doodle style, and began filtering in new, more current tag designs. Once the brand direction was established, I created their printed assets including postcards, stickers, business cards, a wholesale booth, and t-shirts.

Friends Together

Photographer Robert Liberatore and I worked together to create photos that highlighted Dog Tag Art’s motto.

I brought in bright colored backdrops in our signature hues. We got to work, staging adorable animals and owners. Moving pets and small pet ID tags are a challenge to photograph, but with patience and good treats (and a quick photographer), we were able to capture moments. Moments that not only showed the love between a pet and their parent, but the ID tags that help keep pets safe.

In between photoshoots, my pets act as my in-home models. I take close-up photos of tags and capture candid moments.

Robert Liberatore and I worked together to create two video ads for social media. He filmed the storylines I envisioned and edited them together. I went in post-edits and added the motion graphics and text. There have been many different versions of the ad pictured below (changing length, text, social platforms), but this was the original.

When designing printed promotional materials, it was important for the heart of the company to shine through. From stickers to postcards to t-shirts, the materials included vibrant colors and the signature doodles I created - providing continuity throughout the collection.
